Gilbert is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, that is located in the East Valley. Gilbert is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area and as of 2019, is home to more that 250,000 residents. Once known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World,” it is the sixth-largest municipality in Arizona, and the fifth-largest in the Phoenix metro area.
