Mesa is an Arizona city located just east of Phoenix. Mesa Grande Cultural Park is home to a massive, centuries-old ritual mound as well as ancient Hohokam artifacts. Dinosaur fossils and archaeological discoveries are on display at the Arizona Museum of Natural History. For children, the nearby i.d.e.a. Museum has hands-on creative and science exhibitions. Mesa Arts Center hosts theatrical performances, musicals, and modern art exhibits.
